ABOUT THE SUMMIT

Where Finance Leaders Get Straight Answers

2026 has been a pivotal year for Al in finance. Adoption is spiking, teams are automating workflows and choosing between a plethora of solutions, from rule-based and Al-assisted to intelligent Al agents running workflows end-to-end. Finance teams are far more skilled at applying Al than a year ago.

But with this intense pace of Al adoption, a lot of important questions remain:

What data should I trust Al with? How do I evidence what the agents are doing? Will an auditor accept it?

We've decided to unpack these questions during our annual Summit in London on 29 September. To do so, we're inviting the people who can answer them into one room: the team behind the frontier Al models, the specialists applying Al to finance, the auditors who sign off, and finance leaders already running it in practice.

One afternoon, with everyone worth hearing in the same room, so you needn't look for the answers elsewhere.

01

Build it yourself, or buy it built for finance?

Everyone is building on the same AI models. This session shows what the general capability can do for finance on its own, and where its limits are. Together with Nicolas Boucher and Anthropic, we will see what it takes to move from an experiment to work you can run every day: connected data, workflows that don’t break, deterministic outputs, and an audit trail for every step. You'll leave clear on what's realistic to build yourself, and what to buy.

02

Will your auditor sign off when AI runs the close?

As AI takes on more of the close, the open question is what evidence and controls your auditor will expect. This session pairs a Big Four audit partner with a finance leader in a working discussion of what you need to evidence and what a defensible, AI-run process looks like in practice. We will open this up for the audience questions, so bring the questions you can't ask anywhere else.

03

What is the future of finance talent?

When AI agents run the reconciliations, the close and the reporting, the team's work changes, and before long the team itself does too. Do you hire differently? What do you retrain for, and what happens to roles built around manual processing? And as the team beneath you changes, what does your own role become? A conversation with CFOs working through this shift right now, and the founder of a CFO search firm who sees how finance teams are changing across the market.
