Where Finance Leaders Got Straight Answers

2026 has been a pivotal year for AI in finance. Adoption spiked, teams automated workflows and chose between a plethora of solutions, from rule-based and AI-assisted to intelligent AI agents running workflows end-to-end. Finance teams are far more skilled at applying AI than a year ago.

But with this intense pace of AI adoption, a lot of important questions remained:

What data should I trust AI with? How do I evidence what the agents are doing? Will an auditor accept it?

We unpacked these questions at our annual Summit in London on 29 September, bringing together the people who could answer them: the teams behind the frontier AI models, the specialists applying AI to finance, the auditors who sign off, and finance leaders already running it in practice.

Jeremy Hunt spent over a decade in government, most recently as Chancellor from October 2022 to July 2024. He was Health Secretary from 2012–2018, the longest-serving ever, then Foreign Secretary and Culture Secretary, overseeing the London Olympics and Paralympics. He is currently MP for Godalming and Ash.
